What this site knows about you

Very little, and none of it on purpose. There is no form, no account, no mailing list and no advertising network here — this page explains what remains.

This is a static site. It has no accounts, no comments, no forms of any kind, and no mailing list — there is nothing here to sign up to, and no address of yours for us to hold.

What we do not do

We do not ask for your name, your email address or anything about your health, and we could not store it if you sent it. A health subject is exactly the wrong place to be collecting details on a hunch that they might be useful later, so we collect none.

We do not run an advertising network, and there are no third-party tracking scripts embedded in these pages.

What exists anyway

The server that hands you these pages keeps an ordinary access log, as every web server does: the address the request came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser's own description of itself. That is the raw material of keeping a site running and noticing when it breaks.

The typefaces are served from this site rather than fetched from a font service while you read, so opening a page here does not announce your visit to a third party in order to draw the headline.

A small number of links on this site pass through an address of the form /go/ followed by a name, and land at a seller. Following one tells that seller you arrived from here, which is how a commission is attributed. From the moment you arrive, you are on their site and inside their privacy policy, not ours — and theirs is likely to be considerably busier than this page. Every such link is marked where it sits, and the full arrangement is written out here.

Search engine crawlers are told not to follow those addresses, and the links themselves carry the sponsored and nofollow marks.

If you would rather leave nothing at all

Read the site through a VPN or a privacy-focused browser, and the access log will hold that instead. Nothing on this site breaks if you block JavaScript: the navigation menu is built from a plain HTML disclosure element and opens without it, and every page reads without a single script running. That is not an accident — it is the reason the menu is built that way.

Changes

If this ever stops being true — if a form appears, or an analytics tool — this page will say so on the day it happens, and the change will be described rather than buried in a revision date.
